My Tourney Journey

BJ'S 11th Annual Northern Pike Tournament on Clearwater Lake, MN proved to be a good day of fishing for myself and fishing partner, Brent Vetsch. We took 2nd place (only .03 ounces from winning 1st). Our biggest also won us 2nd biggest northern in the tournament. It was 36" and weighed in at 9.10 pounds. The Northern was caught on my Laugger White Demon and the others were caught on the Laugger Insanity.

2nd Place Lunker

Our tournament fish were only .03 ounces from taking 1st place! A lot of fish were caught . . . proving that Fall fishing is underway! This 36" Northern was caught using the White Demon Laugger.
Keith Dickinson caught this 43" Musky on Lake Alexander near Motley, MN. Keith was using the Laugger "Insanity" to attract this big one!
Char Coplan caught this nice 33" Northern Pike on Big Birch Lake in Minnesota. It was a great day of fishing!

Versatile Lures!

A quick photo of another one of my favorite fish to catch . . . BASS! I will be introducing the new 7-inch Jr. Laugger soon, but this Bass couldn't wait, he went for the 9-inch:)
It was a long winter for me . . . I was sure happy to get out fishing on the open water again! I recently caught this 33 inch Musky on the Rush Laugger while on a short trip up North. It sure felt good to start off the season reeling in some fish! Good luck fishing to you! I have been pretty busy over the 4th holiday, but am making plans to do a lot more fishing as soon as I get caught up on making lures and will post my pics as soon as I can. Let me know about your fishing success this year!

No fish is too BIG for my nephew, Gavin (holding a replica of one of grandpa's trophies)!
Here's a photo of a nice catch by one of our ProStaff, Robby Pollreis!

Here's a pic of one of my catches field testing last summer. . . . thought I'd share.
